Burgers are so delicious and worth the wait. The meat just taste so much more chard. It hits the spot everytime. My 17 year old daughter had the volcano burger a few times. She loved it so much that it's her absolute favorite place to go now for burgers.

A friend took me here for a late lunch early dinner yesterday, customer service "Great"  food good, delicious burgers an I ordered the small burger with avocado it was enough for me we also had zucchini n onion rings.  I recommend eating here will be back soon!!

I haven't been here for a long time.
I had a burger with no bun. The party was dry. My husband said his burger was just ok. Prices not bad.
Since the guy who took our order was nice; we will come back to try something else since we are down the street.

Went late at night on a Friday it was moderate busy first timer and it was great. The burgers are something else not your average burger joint.  Definitely  recommend.

Came here a few days ago but forgot to write a review for chili cheese fries. This spot serves diner food which iv always been a fan of, you already know what to expect from these places. I had a craving for some chili cheese fries so that's what I got. For the price, portion, and taste, it was great. The chili was so good, it's the best chili iv had before. However the fries weren't really seasoned so they lacked flavor. Other than that it was great. The cashier is friendly and they get our order out quick. Which I had a picture but I ate it before I remembered to take one. Oops! Great spot to try out if in Los Alamitos area!

Went here for the second time recently. I felt pretty meh about this place the first time, like I think the ingredients are solid and fresh, but it was tasting pretty bland to me?

However, my husband really liked the burger he got the first time and liked the one he got this time. And I also really liked the burger I got this time! I got the Colosso burger which is their standard burger, but with pastrami. I'm gonna be honest, but again it was just really solid, fresh ingredients. Good bun, juicy beef, nice pastrami, but it still tasted fairly bland, in my opinion. Popped a little bit of ketchup on it and I thought it was super tasty, haha. So overall, really great burger. But my husband got the bacon burger and he really liked his. Gave him the last third of my burger and he thought it was great too.

We also got an order of fries, and while I also found them bland they went well with our burgers. They were large and while not soft, weren't exactly crispy either. Would get them again.

The drive-thru is super convenient, and went fairly fast. Can't comment on the inside as I've never been, but the exterior looks like a typical old school burger joint and feels nostalgic. Will probably be back whenever my husband and I are feeling burgers again, and aren't vibing with your typical fast food chain burger.

I visited Volcano's Burger after a friend who graduated from Los Alamitos High School recommended it to me. The restaurant is located across the street from the school and is a proud sponsor of its sports teams. The orders are taken at the storefront and depending on whether it's takeout or dine-in, they are picked up at one of the two windows. The restaurant has outdoor tables and seats for casual dining, and drive-thru orders are also available for those who prefer to stay in their vehicles.

When I arrived at the restaurant during lunch hours, it was bustling. I found it interesting that the restaurant does not have a website and takes all orders by hand, which is a CLASSIC way of doing things.

What we ordered:
COLOSSAL BURGER, which is their hamburger with PASTRAMI. My friend's recommendation was spot on - it was DELICIOUS. They applied Thousand Island dressing with shredded lettuce and sesame seed buns that reminded me of 50's diners.

CHILI CHEESE FRIES which were a great sharable portion and had loads of chili and cheese. They were not too greasy and tasted AMAZING. I would recommend both these items, and the best part was that the total was AFFORDABLE, under $20. I am definitely planning to visit this restaurant again.
